About the Centre
The Crescent Shopping Centre is the biggest and most successful shopping complex outside of Dublin. On Limerick’s Dooradoyle Road, the Crescent is just two miles from Limerick city centre. The shopping centre is easily accessible from the city by the local road network. The new Limerick Southern Ring Road, at present under construction – will pass outside the shopping centre and provide improved access for customers from all surrounding areas including Shannon, Ennis, Tipperary and Cork.
The existing centre offers 37,000 m2 of retail space. Other facilities include restaurants, a 12 – screen cinema, a free standing McDonalds, banks, a crèche and 2,500 free parking spaces in surface and basement car parks. The complex also includes the offices of Limerick county council, and a public library.
The centre has a number of main anchor tenants, namely Tesco, Penneys, Shaws, Heatons, Argos and Boots. There are a further 88 shop units, which include occupiers such as Next, Zara, H&M, HMV, River Island, Monsoon, Vero Moda, Jack and Jones, Adams, Top Shop, A-Wear, Body Shop, sports shops Elvery’s and Lifestyle, Specsavers opticians, McCabe pharmacy and Falcon Travel.
